Katherine R. Tuttle, MD, FASN, FACP, FNKF 

Katherine R. Tuttle, MD, FASN, FACP, FNKF, is Executive Director for Research at Providence Health Care, and Professor of Medicine and Co-Principal Investigator of the Clinical and Translational Science Award at the University of Washington. Her main area of research and clinical contribution is diabetes and chronic kdney disease. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Kidney Health Initiative and has chaired numerous other national programs including the National Kidney Foundation - Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative for Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease, the National Diabetes Education Program, the American Diabetes Association Diabetic Kidney Disease Consensus Conference, and the American Society of Nephrology Diabetic Kidney Disease Task Force.
