The Obesity and Weight Loss Certificate Program provides healthcare professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical tools to manage and treat obesity and its related health conditions. Through six comprehensive courses, participants will explore the pathophysiology of obesity, evidence-based nutritional strategies, endocrine disorders contributing to weight gain, pharmacotherapy, and interdisciplinary approaches to obesity management. The program also covers metabolic complications, including hypertension and dyslipidemia, equipping learners with the skills needed to deliver effective, patient-centered care.
Physician CreditThe American College of Endocrinology (ACE) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Endocrinology (ACE) designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABOM CreditApplicants for certification through the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) may claim up to 6 Group Two CME credits toward the ABOM application requirement.
ABIM MOCSuccessful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 6 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. Only those who receive a passing score will be eligible for MOC credit.
