Last year, the ABIM reported one of the lowest pass rates for the endocrinology board exam. We can help you pass the board exam or hone the clinical thought process and problem-solving skills you need to help your patients prevent negative outcomes  — and earn CME/MOC credit — with AACE Self-Assessment Program (ASAP)! ASAP’s high quality, peer-reviewed, case-based questions are aligned to the ABIM blueprint for those seeking certification/recertification and cover a broad range of topics focused on understanding disease states, making accurate diagnoses, and treating endocrinology disease, making it a valuable education resource for those seeking to stay current in their endocrinology practice.

ACCME Accreditation Statement

The American College of Endocrinology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

American College of Endocrinology (AACE) designates this enduring material for a maximum of 47 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ . Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABIM Maintenance of Certification:

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 47 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit. Only those who receive a passing score will be eligible for MOC credit. Participation information will be shared with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS).

After this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the clinical presentations of endocrine disorders
  • Comprehend diagnostic approaches to endocrine diseases and their differential diagnoses
  • Understand proper use and interpretation of diagnostic tests including laboratory tests and imaging studies for diagnosing endocrine diseases
  • Apply updated information to the treatment and management of endocrine disorders
  • Appreciate issues related to long term follow-up and prognosis of endocrine diseases
