Andrew Muir, MD
Andrew Muir is a pediatric endocrinolgist, the Marcus Professor of Pediatrics, and the Director of Pediatric Endocrinology at Emory University and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He completed a Pediatrics residency at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children and his training in Pediatric Endocrinology was completed at Washington University and the University of Florida. He has been combining clinical and academic efforts in Florida and Georgia for 30 years. His main research focus has been on type 1 diabetes, but as a practicing endocrinologist in the Southeastern US, he leads a group that cares for over 400 children with type 2 diabetes.
